Our staff are qualified through NACCRRA's Child Care Aware Quality Assurance Certification and NYS Best Practice Certification in Child Care Resource and Referrals.
The Child Care Resource and Referral Staff are ready to help assist you in your child care search. CCR&R Staff are able to answer any of your questions regarding Quality Indicators for child care, NYS regulations for Child Care, how to contact Department of Social Services to obtain an application for Child Care Subsidy, & Fair Market Rates for Child Care payments.
CCR&R staff will obtain your family profile such as: name, address, email address, telephone number, where you would like the child care to be located, days and times that care is needed and a list of your child’s specific care needs. From that information the CCR&R staff will be able to provide comprehensive and personal referrals for your child care needs.

Confidentiality Policy: It is the policy of the Child Care Council of Orange County to keep all personal information shared by clients confidential. All information gathered is for statistical purposes of Funders and Council Needs Assessments of the County and no information is shared with outside parties. Personal information is defined as name, address, phone number, or fax number and email address.
All referrals are to NYS licensed or registered Family Day Care or Group Family Day Care providers, Day Care Centers and School Age Child Care programs including information on summer camps, nursery schools and Aupair services.
