PARENT ALERT – HELP WITH CHILD CARE!

The Council is pleased to collaborate with Orange County United Way to foster their mission. The Council has funding to assist parents who are just above the 200% of poverty level of Department of Social Services eligibility, but are in need of financial assistance for childcare. The new funding year will be July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012.

You can estimate eligibility prior to submitting an application. With the income eligibility scale, CLICK ON LINK BELOW you can add 4 weeks of income and match it to the monthly amount on the scale under the number of household members.

If you feel you are in the range and possibly eligible for a scholarship, please complete the APPLICATION-CLICK ON LINK BELOW, along with 4 weeks of pay stubs )2 if biweekly salary) and any other income documentation for all household members listed on the application
1. Application by fax will not be accepted.
2. Results will take a week to review after receipt.
3. All checks for payment are sent to the child care provider /program.
4. Please call 845- 568-5120 phone number or email scholarships@childcarecounciloc.org for any questions. Only the staff member at that phone or email address can answer questions, as only that staff member has the files to review and answer your questions.
